Akuma has a new teleport command grab in Street Fighter 6 that was actually pulled from an obscure Capcom venture

Akuma's gameplay trailer for Street Fighter 6 was revealed at Evo Japan 2024, showcasing a new command grab move linked to his teleport ability, known as "Oboro Throw." This move, although appearing new, originally debuted in Ultra Street Fighter 4's Omega Mode, where it was an experimental feature. Akuma's enhanced abilities in Street Fighter 6 include this special move, which does not seem to use any Drive Gauge based on the trailer visuals. Akuma will be available for play on May 22.
