Amazon is getting rid of plastic air pillows in North America

The new paper filler used by Amazon in its delivery packaging is made from 100 percent recycled content. This means that it is entirely composed of recycled materials, which not only promotes sustainability but also allows customers to easily recycle the material at home1.

Amazon plans to eliminate almost 15 billion plastic air pillows annually by replacing them with recyclable paper filler in its delivery packaging in North America. The company has already replaced 95 percent of plastic air pillows with paper filler and aims to completely remove plastic air packaging by the end of this year.
