Apple adds more carve-outs to its EU core tech fee after criticism from devs

Apple has modified its Core Technology Fee (CTF) policy for iOS developers in the EU in response to feedback and the region's Digital Markets Act (DMA). Free apps are now exempt from the fee, and developers with annual revenues under €10 million receive a three-year grace period before the fee applies. These changes, effective immediately, also extend to iPadOS, aligning with DMA compliance requirements.
