
During the month of May, Arbitrum (ARB) saw its price increase by more than 8%. At the end of the month, ARB was trading at $1.11 with a market capitalization of over $3.2 billion. On the other hand, Optimism (OP) experienced a decline in its price, as it fell by more than 10% in the same period. OP was trading at $2.45 with a market cap of over $2.6 billion at the end of May. Despite ARB's positive growth, both tokens' weighted sentiments remained in the negative zone, indicating that bearish sentiments continued to dominate their markets.

Blast had the best growth percentage in the month of May, with a 39% increase. This growth rate was higher than other Layer-2 solutions such as Optimism, Base, and Arbitrum. Blast also performed well in terms of transactions, as they increased by 71% during the same period.

According to the recent report, opBNB had the highest number of transactions in May among Layer-2 solutions. In terms of transactions per second, opBNB also dominated the rest with the highest rate last month.
