Beef Recall Map Shows Area Affected

A massive recall of ground beef products has been issued across eleven states and Washington, D.C. due to potential E.coli contamination, affecting approximately 16,243 pounds of beef. The recall involves six products from Cargill Meat Solutions and targets Walmart stores in the eastern and northeastern U.S.

Consumers are urged to check their beef products for specific lot codes and the establishment number "EST. 86P" on the packaging. The U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service advises that any affected products should not be consumed and should be returned or discarded to prevent health risks associated with E. coli.
