Biden administration plans $285M in CHIPS Act funding for digital twins

The Biden administration is set to allocate $285 million from the CHIPS Act to enhance semiconductor manufacturing with digital twin technology. This initiative aims to support research, combined facilities, industry projects, and workforce training, and will establish a new CHIPS Manufacturing USA Institute. An informational webinar for potential applicants, including nonprofits, universities, and companies, is scheduled for May 8.
