Boeing supplier regularly shipped parts with defects, whistleblower alleges

Santiago Paredes, a former employee at Spirit AeroSystems, alleged that the company frequently shipped defective aircraft parts to Boeing. He claimed to have found numerous defects in fuselages, including missing or bent parts. Despite raising concerns, Paredes said he faced pressure to underreport issues and was eventually demoted, leading him to file an ethics complaint. These allegations have surfaced amidst previous incidents involving Boeing 737 Max planes, including fatal crashes and a mid-air incident.
