Boeing supplier Spirit AeroSystems lays off workers, citing lower plane delivery rates

Spirit AeroSystems, a key Boeing supplier, announced layoffs affecting 400 to 450 workers at its Wichita facility due to reduced delivery rates of Boeing planes. The company, which manufactures fuselages for Boeing's 737 Max, faces financial struggles with a significant quarterly loss reported. Additionally, Spirit AeroSystems is in acquisition talks with Boeing, from which it separated in 2005.
