Bruce Nordstrom, who significantly expanded his family's department store from a regional chain to a prominent national brand, has passed away at the age of 90. Under his leadership, Nordstrom went public in 1971 and launched the budget-friendly Nordstrom Rack outlets. After retiring in 1995, he remained active in the company, attempting a buyout in 2017. His legacy continues through his family, including his sons who lead Nordstrom today.
