A luxury pineapple, priced at $395, is now available at Melissa's Produce in Vernon, California, reflecting the growing market for high-end fruits. The Rubyglow pineapple, developed in Costa Rica by Del Monte Foods after 16 years of research, is known for its unique ruby color and sweet taste. Previously exclusive to China, this expensive fruit has been introduced to North America, joining other costly produce like Oishii strawberries and Sumo Citrus, which have also gained popularity in the U.S.

The limited-edition Rubyglow pineapple is being sold at a price of $395 in Southern California.
