D&D Beyond, the online platform for Dungeons & Dragons, has redesigned its marketplace, eliminating the option for a la carte purchases. This change forces players to buy full sourcebooks instead of individual game components like subclasses or spells, making the game more expensive for some. The company, owned by Hasbro, now also sells physical copies of books directly. This shift comes as D&D Beyond prepares for the release of a revised Core Rulebook by Wizards of the Coast in 2024.
