Dave Chappelle Hollywood Bowl Attacker Sues Venue, Security for Battery

Isaiah Lee, the man who attacked Dave Chappelle at the Hollywood Bowl in 2022, is suing the venue and its security for battery and negligence. He claims the security team assaulted him after he rushed the stage, which he did to protest Chappelle's jokes. Lee, who identifies as bisexual and has been homeless, alleges the security allowed Chappelle's entourage to join in the attack and failed to prevent the incident despite knowing Chappelle's controversial material. Lee is seeking damages for injuries including a dislocated elbow and back issues.
