Delta update 1.6 introduces native iPad support, allowing users to play emulated games on a full screen. The update includes new controller skins designed for iPad, and enables emulation of multiple games simultaneously using multiple windows, thanks to support for Stage Manager and Split View6. Additionally, the update adds Handoff capability, allowing users to seamlessly switch between devices.

The Delta 1.6 update enhances DS game emulation by improving game compatibility and performance, removing the requirement for users to find BIOS files, and supporting the "insertion" of GBA games into the DS dual-slot5. Additionally, the update increases the fast-forward speed to 3x for A15 processors or later, and adds menu button gestures for quick actions.

Delta's app icon was changed in update 1.6 after Adobe claimed that the original logo looked too similar to theirs. The new logo, designed by Caroline Moore, features a detached triangle, different from the previous logo. This change was made to appease Adobe's complaint and avoid any legal issues.
