Frumtak IV fund, raised by Iceland's early-stage investor Frumtak Ventures, has successfully accumulated a total of $84 million. This fund, notably oversubscribed, follows the footsteps of the 2021’s $57 million Frumtak III fund.

Frumtak Ventures' investment philosophy focuses on entrepreneurs by providing a unique toolkit to empower ambitious founders to thrive and scale their companies. They support entrepreneurs solving difficult real-world problems using cutting-edge technologies, and are not afraid to combine software and AI with deeptech or hardware components.

Frumtak IV sees further investment potential in sectors at the intersection of software, AI, and deeptech in industries playing on Iceland's historical strengths. These include ocean tech and logistics, healthcare, travel, energy, climate, and gender equality.
