GameStop's stock rose 10% in pre-market trading on Monday.

GameStop's stock performance took a downturn by the close of trading on Friday after Keith Gill's YouTube livestream. The shares plunged 40% and closed out the day down 39%, at $28.22 per share. This drop came as a surprise to many who expected the livestream to give the company's stock a major boost. The negative turn in stock performance was also influenced by the company's first-quarter earnings report, which showed a decline in net sales and a narrower net loss compared to the previous year.

Keith Gill's YouTube livestream on the Roaring Kitty channel had a viewership count of more than 600,000. It was his first livestream in almost three years.
