GM to Retire the Chevy Malibu to Make More EVs

General Motors announced the discontinuation of the Chevrolet Malibu, its last affordable sedan, to focus on electric vehicles. The Malibu, introduced in the 1960s, will cease production later this year as GM retools its Kansas plant for the Chevrolet Bolt EV and Cadillac XT4 SUV.
