Airbnb has launched a new line of Icons hotels, offering immersive experiences in settings from popular films and TV shows, including the X-Men '97 mansion and Disney’s Up! house. The X-Mansion, located in New Castle, New York, features activities like training in The War Room and trying on Cerebro's helmet, all set in a meticulously hand-painted environment to mimic the 2D animated world of X-Men '97.

In addition to the X-Mansion, Airbnb introduced the Up house experience in Abiquiu, New Mexico. This experience includes a house built from scratch, lifted 50 feet in the air by a crane, with every detail crafted to reflect the beloved animated movie. Both experiences are part of Airbnb's broader initiative to create unique vacation options, following the success of previous projects like Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse and Shrek’s Swamp.
