Google adds Gemini to its Education suite

Google has enhanced its Education suite by introducing Gemini, an AI add-on for educational institutes, launched at the Google I/O developer conference. The base plan, Gemini Education, integrates AI into Google Workspace tools like Docs and Meet, priced at $24 per month. The premium version offers additional features like AI-powered note-taking for $36 per month. Gemini aims to assist in educational tasks, including lesson planning and providing personalized feedback. Additionally, Google introduced LearnLM, a new AI model for educational content in platforms like YouTube and Google Classroom.
