Google Introduces Editing Feature for Sent Messages in Latest Android Update
Edit Sent Messages
Google now allows users to edit their sent messages up to 15 minutes after sending, enhancing user experience by providing a chance to correct errors or update information.
Instant Hotspot Enhancements
The update simplifies connecting Android tablets or Chromebooks to a phone's hotspot with one-tap connectivity and no password requirement, starting June 10th.
Google Home Favorites Widget
This new widget enables quick control of frequently used smart home devices directly from the Android phone's homescreen, now in public preview.
Extended Digital Car Key Support
Support for digital car keys is expanding to include more vehicle brands like Mini, Mercedes-Benz, and Polestar, with phased rollouts beginning in May and continuing through June.

Users have 15 minutes to edit their messages after sending them on Google Messages. This can be done by tapping and holding on sent RCS messages and then selecting the pencil icon that appears at the top of the screen.

The updated instant hotspot feature offers Android tablet and Chromebook users the ability to connect to their phone's hotspot with a single tap, without requiring a password. This allows for a more seamless and convenient connection process when using the hotspot.
