Gemini in Google Messages is an AI chatbot integrated into the messaging app, allowing users to draft messages, ask questions on various topics, brainstorm ideas, and plan events24. It is designed to enhance user interaction and make digital communication more interactive and efficient. Gemini is currently available in English and French (in Canada) and supports Android devices with at least 6GB of RAM.
Gemini exited beta at the Google I/O 2024 event last month. The AI model has since been integrated into various Google products, including Google Messages, which now features a double FAB (floating action button) design. This prominent push allows users to easily access the generative AI chatbot within Google Messages.
The Gemini icon will appear in the top-right corner of Gmail for Android and iOS users, allowing easy access to the Q&A capability. This feature simplifies the process of asking Gemini to perform tasks and provide information directly within the Gmail app.
