Google's Advanced Protection Program will soon support passkeys

On World Password Day, Google announced that its Advanced Protection Program (APP) will soon incorporate passkeys, enhancing security for high-risk users like journalists and human rights workers. Passkeys have already been used extensively, with over 1 billion authentications on Google Accounts. Additionally, Google's Cross-Account Protection will improve by sharing security alerts with third-party apps, boosting defenses against cyber threats.
