Google's Gemini AI plan for schools promises extra data protection and privacy

Google is set to launch Gemini AI for educational use, ensuring heightened data privacy by not utilizing user data for AI training or sharing it externally. This feature will be included in Workspace for Education accounts without extra charges but will use the older Gemini 1.0 Pro model. Gemini for Google Workspace, available from May 23, will offer two packages, with varying access and features like AI summaries for Google Meet. Additionally, Chromebooks will soon introduce new accessibility features to aid users with visual impairments.
