Google Tests Much-Needed Google Photos Feature Upgrade

Google is developing a new "show less" feature for Google Photos, allowing users to hide specific faces from the "Memories" feature while keeping them tagged in the main photo library. This aims to help users avoid emotionally sensitive content without losing the ability to search for these photos. Additionally, a potential future update might enable automatic backup of all new folders detected on a device, which poses both convenience and privacy concerns. These features were reported by Android Authority and are not yet available to the public.
