Helldivers 2 has been removed from Steam in 170 countries due to a new requirement that players must link their game to a PlayStation Network (PSN) account, which is only available in 90 countries. This change, announced by Sony, aims to combat misuse by requiring a PSN account for continued access. Consequently, Valve is offering refunds to affected players, even if they have exceeded the usual two-hour gameplay limit for refunds. This situation is a significant setback for Sony, as Helldivers 2 had been performing exceptionally well in sales.
