Helldivers 2 PC Escapes PSN Account Requirement, but Ghost of Tsushima Multiplayer Does Not

Sony has reversed its decision requiring PC players of Helldivers 2 to link their Steam accounts with PlayStation Network (PSN), but the upcoming PC version of Ghost of Tsushima will still require PSN for certain features. The developer, Sucker Punch, specified that PSN is necessary for the Legends multiplayer mode and the PlayStation overlay, but not for the single-player game. The Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, releasing on PC, includes cross-play and a new PlayStation Overlay, enhancing connectivity and social features.
