Ilya Sutskever, OpenAI co-founder and longtime chief scientist, departs

Ilya Sutskever, a co-founder and the chief scientist of OpenAI, has left the company to pursue a new, personally meaningful project. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman expressed his gratitude for Sutskever's contributions, crediting him as a pivotal figure in the company's success. Jakub Pachocki, previously the director of research, will take over Sutskever's responsibilities. This leadership change follows internal disagreements and a significant reshuffling of OpenAI’s board last year.
