4. Game Mode: This new mode will minimize background activities on the iPhone to improve game performance and responsiveness with AirPods and wireless gaming controllers.

5. Lock Individual Apps: iOS 18 will introduce a new security feature that allows users to lock individual apps, requiring Face ID authentication to unlock them and providing an extra layer of privacy and security.

6. Rich Communication Support (RCS): Apple is adopting the RCS messaging protocol, which will improve messaging between Android and iOS devices by adding features like cross-platform emoji reactions, read receipts, and real-time typing indicators.

7. Home Screen Widgets: iOS 18 will feature new Home Screen widgets for built-in apps like Weather, Stocks, and Calendar, allowing users to access information at a glance.
