iOS 17.5 beta lets you keep Find My on during iPhone repairs

Apple's upcoming iOS 17.5 beta introduces a "Repair State" mode, allowing iPhone users to keep Find My and Activation Lock enabled during repairs. This feature addresses the inconvenience of disabling anti-theft measures, which is currently required by Apple and authorized repair providers. The new mode, expected to launch in May, also includes enhancements for European Union users, such as downloading apps from the web.
