iPhone 17 rumors: New design, 'Slim' model to replace 'Plus, more

Apple is set to revamp its iPhone lineup in 2025 with the introduction of the iPhone 17 series, featuring a refreshed design and technological advancements. According to analyst Jeff Pu, the lineup will include a new "iPhone 17 Slim" model replacing the "Plus" version, and upgrades like a smaller Dynamic Island and a new metalens technology for the proximity sensor.

The iPhone 17 series will offer enhanced specifications such as 24MP front-facing cameras, up from the current 12MP, and increased RAM options, with the Pro models equipped with the A19 Pro chip. The iPhone 17 and 17 Slim are expected to have 8GB of RAM, while the Pro versions will boast 12GB.
