In April, Apple revised its App Store guidelines to permit retro game emulators, leading to the release of several popular emulators. These apps allow iPhone users to play games from older consoles like Nintendo, Sony, SEGA, and Atari. Among the notable emulators are Delta, which supports various Nintendo consoles, and RetroArch, offering a broad range of emulators for multiple platforms including PlayStation and SEGA. However, the Dolphin emulator for GameCube and Wii will not be available due to Apple's restrictions on Just-in-Time (JIT) compilation technology.
