King Charles and other senior British royals are set to relinquish nearly 200 patronages after reviewing their ties with over 1,000 groups, following Queen Elizabeth's death. The review aimed to assess the royal connections to various charities and organizations. Over 830 patronages will be maintained or reassigned within the royal family. Notable groups retaining royal patronage include the Royal British Legion and the Wildlife Trusts. The findings from the review will be communicated to the relevant organizations during the week of Charles and Camilla's first coronation anniversary.
