Moelis & Co. has responded to the incident involving their employee, Jonathan Kaye, by initiating an investigation. The company stated, "We have become aware that one of our employees was involved in a serious incident in Brooklyn on June 8. We take this matter very seriously and are conducting an investigation." The company did not confirm whether Kaye was the employee in question or if he was facing any disciplinary action.

In the video, the crowd reacted with shock and outrage at the incident. Onlookers can be heard calling the attacker an "asshole" and a "horrible person." The video also shows a flustered-looking assailant walking away while wearing a jacket streaked with liquid down the back following the alleged attack.

During the Brooklyn Pride event, the millionaire investment banker allegedly punched the woman in the face, causing her to fall to the ground. The disturbing video shows the man delivering an overhand right punch to the woman's face in front of a crowd of partygoers. The woman covered her injured face and crumpled to the ground, just feet away from a second presumably injured person lying on the pavement. The alleged attacker reportedly broke the woman's nose.
