Missy Elliott Joins Universal’s Untitled Pharrell Williams and Michel Gondry Musical Project

Missy Elliott has joined the cast of Universal Pictures’ untitled musical project directed by Michel Gondry and featuring Pharrell Williams. The film, a coming-of-age musical set in Virginia Beach during 1977, also stars Halle Bailey and Brian Tyree Henry. This project marks Elliott's return to the big screen since her role in 2004's "Shark Tale."
