The latest iPad Pro models introduced by Apple feature OLED displays with a refresh rate that can go as low as 10Hz. However, unlike the iPhone and Apple Watch, these iPads still lack an always-on display feature. The new technology aims to reduce power consumption without affecting the battery life compared to previous models.
Despite supporting ProMotion technology since 2017, this is the first time iPad Pros can adjust to such a low refresh rate, thanks to the LTPO technology. Apple has also enhanced the brightness capabilities of these models, achieving up to 1,000 nits for SDR content. These new models are available for order with a launch date set for May 15.
