Hapa Pizza's menu was inspired by the owners' Aaron and Natalie Truong's desire to combine Asian and American cuisines, reflecting their own experiences as Asian Americans5. They experimented with adding Asian toppings that they grew up eating on pizzas, resulting in unique dishes like Bánh Mì pizza, Phở pizza, and Thai green curry pizza.
Hapa Pizza can also be purchased at the Beaverton Farmers Market on Southwest 5th Street. The restaurant, which is known for its unique blend of Asian-inspired Neapolitan pizza, started as a farmer's market pop-up before opening a brick-and-mortar location in downtown Beaverton.
