Nominations open for 6th Annual VentureBeat Women in AI Awards

VB Transform 2024 is an annual flagship event organized by VentureBeat, scheduled to take place in San Francisco from July 9-11. The purpose of this event is to bring together over 400 enterprise leaders to explore the advancements and applications of Generative AI (gen AI) strategies2. With gen AI gaining traction across various industries, this event aims to provide a platform for decision-makers to dive deep into the world of AI and engage in thought-provoking discussions within the community2. The focus of Transform 2024 is "Putting AI to Work," highlighting how enterprises can harness the power of gen AI to drive innovation and transformation. The event will feature insights from Fortune 500 leaders and emerging companies, covering crucial sectors like health, finance, and software. In-depth discussions on promising AI applications, challenges in AI orchestration, and enhancing AI accessibility across organizations will also take place2. Additionally, the event will recognize outstanding contributions through the sixth annual VB AI Innovation Awards.

The Women in AI Awards at VB Transform 2024 features five categories for nomination:

1. Responsibility & Ethics of AI: This award honors a woman who demonstrates exemplary leadership and progress in the growing hot topic of responsible AI.
2. AI Entrepreneur: This award honors a woman who has started companies showing great promise in AI. Consideration will be given to business traction, the technology solution, and impact in the AI space.
3. AI Research: This award honors a woman who has made a significant impact in an area of research in AI, helping accelerate progress either within her organization, as part of academic research, or impacting AI.
4. AI Mentorship: This award honors a woman leader who has helped mentor other women in the field of AI, providing guidance and support and/or encouraging more women to enter the field of AI.
5. Rising Star: This award honors a woman in the beginning stage of her AI career who has demonstrated exemplary leadership traits.

Winners are selected based on their commitment to the industry, their efforts to increase inclusivity in the field, and their positive influence in the community. The nomination window closes soon, so submit your nominations before June 18th.
