Popular shopping mall retailer to close all stores nationwide

Rue21, a popular teen apparel retailer, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and announced the closure of all its 543 stores nationwide. The company, which has struggled with over $194 million in debt, cited the pandemic and a shift to online shopping as key reasons for its financial woes. The closures will include large-scale liquidation sales of both physical and intangible assets.
