The Rabbit R1, a pocket-sized AI gadget launched by Teenage Engineering, was shown running on a Google Pixel 6a, sparking debate about its need for specific hardware. Android Authority's Mishaal Rahman demonstrated the device's software functioning as an app on the Pixel, suggesting it might not require dedicated hardware. In response, Rabbit's CEO Jesse Lyu defended the necessity of the hardware, emphasizing that Rabbit OS and its features are optimized for the R1 device and warned against the use of unauthorized emulators which could pose security risks.
