A group of Nintendo 3DS and Wii U players have surpassed a 14-year-old record set by Halo 2 fans by staying online for over 25 days after their servers were officially shut down on April 8, 2024. This feat was achieved by players of games like Splatoon 1, Pokémon X & Y, and Mario Kart 7, among others. As of now, seven dedicated players remain online, continuing to challenge the limits of server connectivity and community endurance.
