Single-tap passkeys are coming to Android 15

At the Google I/O keynote, a highlight was the announcement of single-tap passkeys in Android 15, simplifying the login process by merging account selection and biometric prompts into one step. This feature will be supported in the new versions of Credential Manager on Android 15 and higher, and will also integrate with Gboard's Autofill. Additionally, a new "Restore" feature will make it easier to transfer credentials to a new device. Passkeys will also be introduced to Wear OS 5, enhancing security and convenience for smartwatch users.
