Sonic Rumble announced for iOS, Android – 32-player battle royale

SEGA, in collaboration with Rovio, announced "Sonic Rumble," a 32-player battle royale game for iOS and Android, set to launch this winter. A closed beta test is scheduled for May 24-26, with sign-ups currently open. The game features players as toy figures in a world crafted by Dr. Eggman, competing to collect rings and win races.

"Sonic Rumble" marks the first joint project between SEGA and Rovio, aiming to leverage Rovio's marketing prowess to enhance Sonic's footprint in the mobile gaming market. Players can customize characters from the Sonic universe, enhancing the interactive and competitive experience.
