Star Wars Outlaws is an upcoming open-world action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. Set in the Star Wars universe between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, players will step into the role of Kay Vess, a clever scoundrel in the galactic underworld. The game is played from a third-person perspective, with players traversing an open-world environment and engaging in various activities. Combat in the game combines melee and ranged combat, as well as stealth elements.

The game's story follows Kay Vess as she plans a massive heist, while also attempting to start a new life. Players will visit worlds both familiar and new, encountering many characters from the original trilogy, including Jabba the Hutt, a carbonite-frozen Han Solo, and more. The ground-level areas are open-world, but players also get to pilot a spaceship called the Trailblazer, which lets them take part in dogfights with various enemies.

Star Wars Outlaws is set to release on August 30 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game is now available for preorder in three editions (Standard, Gold, and Ultimate) with prices ranging from $69.99 to $129.99. Preordering any edition will receive the Kessel Runner Bonus pack, which includes cosmetic items for the player's speeder and Trailblazer spaceship.
