Stock market is still at record high after Nvidia supplants Microsoft as most valuable company

Nvidia's stock increased by 2.8% on Thursday, following its supplanting of Microsoft as the most valuable company on Wall Street with a total market value of more than $3.3 trillion. The company has been a major beneficiary of the stock market's frenzy around artificial-intelligence technology.

Accenture has gained over $900 million in new bookings for generative AI during its third quarter, according to the professional services company's latest earnings report. This brings the total for its last three quarters to more than $2 billion.
