Tesla axed thousands of open roles, leaving three training positions

Tesla has drastically reduced its job openings in North America, slashing the number from over 3,400 to just three. This move follows a difficult quarter for Tesla, characterized by significant layoffs, executive departures, and missed earnings targets. The remaining positions are part of a training program rather than full-time roles.

Additionally, Tesla has canceled summer internship offers and announced a workforce reduction that could affect up to 20,000 employees. Despite these cuts, Tesla still lists 28 job openings in Europe, primarily at its Brandenburg Gigafactory in Germany. The company's LinkedIn page shows discrepancies with its official careers page, indicating some roles in the Dominican Republic as well.
