
Live Nation, Ticketmaster's parent company, first identified unauthorized activity in their cloud database on May 20.

The specific types of personal information reportedly stolen from Ticketmaster customers by the hackers include names, addresses, phone numbers, as well as order details and partial credit card information5. The hackers claimed to have obtained 1.3 terabytes of user data, which also comprised of the last four digits of credit and debit cards, card expiration dates, and customer fraud data. Additionally, Ticketmaster account information such as ticket sales, event information, and orders were also reportedly stolen.

The hacking group ShinyHunters claimed to have obtained 1.3 terabytes of Ticketmaster user data. This data includes names, addresses, phone numbers, as well as order details and credit card information of 560 million Ticketmaster customers. The hackers were allegedly selling this data on the dark web for $500,000.
