Top 128 plus top 32 character stats at first Street Fighter 6 major with Akuma and Season 2 balance update for Combo Breaker 2024

At Combo Breaker 2024, the first major tournament featuring the latest Street Fighter 6 update, Rashid emerged as the most represented character in the top 32, despite the addition of Akuma and a Season 2 balance patch. Surprisingly, Akuma saw limited impact, with no players choosing him as their main in the top 32. The top 8 showcased a diverse set of characters, with Luke appearing twice among seven different main characters.

In the recent Combo Breaker 2024 tournament, there was a notable difference in character usage between the top 128 and top 32 competitors in Street Fighter 6.

In the top 32 segment, Rashid emerged as the most popular character, used by four players. This was followed by Luke and Ken, each chosen by three players, with Luke having an additional player using him as a secondary character. Other characters like Chun-Li, Cammy, Dee Jay, Jamie, Kimberly, and Marisa had two users each. The diversity continued with several characters being used by only one competitor, including Ed, A.K.I., Blanka, E. Honda, JP, Juri, Lily, Manon, and Zangief.
