Ubisoft's first-person shooter XDefiant is launching on May 21

Ubisoft is set to release its new first-person shooter, XDefiant, on May 21. This free-to-play game, part of the Tom Clancy universe, will launch on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC via Ubisoft Connect. Initially, players will experience a six-week preseason featuring five game modes, 14 maps, and 24 weapons across five factions.

The game emphasizes team-based gameplay and intricate gunplay, allowing players to customize weapons and choose factions with unique abilities. Post-preseason, Ubisoft plans to expand XDefiant in its first season with additional factions, weapons, and maps, aiming to maintain player engagement with continuous updates throughout the year.
