WhatsApp now lets users plan and schedule events in Communities

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that allows users to organize events within Communities, facilitating the planning of gatherings like PTA meetings or birthday dinners. This feature enables users to create events that others can RSVP to, visible on the group’s info page with reminders as the event approaches. Additionally, WhatsApp is enhancing interaction in Announcement Groups by allowing replies, aiming to maintain organization while enabling member feedback. These updates are part of ongoing enhancements since the launch of Communities in November 2022.
