Apple has agreed to a $35 million settlement over a class action lawsuit concerning iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models that had microphone audio issues. Eligible customers, who purchased the devices between September 16, 2016, and January 3, 2023, and faced audio problems, could receive payments ranging from $50 to $394 depending on whether they paid for repairs or reported the issue without paying.
The deadline to file a claim or opt out is June 3rd. Customers who paid for repairs directly to Apple could receive up to $349, while those who reported the issue but did not pay for repairs could get up to $125.
